‘Bo staff’ as a metaphor

At times, we all need a guiding hand or a tool to help us navigate the challenging “downs” of life—to recognize the subtle signs of an impending wave before it crashes over us.

The term ‘Bo’ carries a deep, personal significance for me. It’s a thread woven through my life—from my maiden name to my husband’s surname, it has always been present. But ‘Bo’ also carries a deeper meaning.

In Scandinavian culture, it translates to ‘live’, symbolizing existence and the essence of life itself.

In Mandarin, “Bo” means ‘wave’, which resonates with the natural rhythm of life: the ebb and flow, the ups and downs.

This duality speaks to the very core of how I approach coaching—helping you live in harmony with life’s unpredictable waves, embracing the fluctuations and maintaining balance as you navigate through them with grace and strength. Finding balance involves being present in the moment, acknowledging both the highs and the lows, and cultivating resilience to adapt to changing circumstances.
